“The Turtle” Caramel Apple
- Grandmas Favorite Caramel
- Semi Sweet Chocolate
- Cleaned apples with sticks inserted
Toast the walnuts in a skillet over medium heat until they start to smell “toasted.” Watch closely as nuts can burn easily. Chop and place on a plate. Dip the apple in caramel and allow excess to drip off. Immediately roll apple in chopped nuts and place on wax paper or silicone mat. Melt chocolate and drizzle over apple. Allow chocolate to set, then dig in!!
