Caramel Pumpkin Spice Italian Soda

I made us a pumpkin spice drink and it’s NOT a latte!

I am a coffee girl all the way. I would like to think I am not addicted, but I do enjoy it, and if I don’t have it in the morning my whole day feels thrown off soo….

I don’t let my kids drink coffee yet, although the few drinks they have had, they have fallen in love. They have good taste just like their mama 😉

I like to make them something special for drink for a fun treat now and then, and this Caramel Pumpkin Spice Italian Soda was born! The flavored syrup keeps for up to two weeks in the fridge for whenever your italian soda need hits. The syrup is also a fantastic addition to hot chocolate and what else- coffee!!

Caramel Pumpkin Spice Italian Soda


    Pumpkin Spice Syrup
  • 1 Cup water
  • 3/4 Cup brown sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • Half and Half
  • Club Soda
  • Caramel sauce
  • Whipped Cream


  • Combine water and sugar in a microwave safe bowl and heat through (4-5 minutes).
  • Stir until sugar is dissolved.
  • Whisk in pumpkin puree and spices.
  • Drain over a small sieve or cheesecloth.
  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
  • In a tall glass, add approximately ¼ cup of syrup, and a tablespoon of caramel sauce. Fill glass most of the way with ice and then club soda. Top with a few splashes of half and half, and whipped topping. Stir and enjoy!
